There are a lot of tools claiming to screen candidates and very little plain information about what they each actually do. These pages are our attempt at some.
These comparisons cover AI candidate screening tools for recruitment agencies, grouped by applicant tracking system. Each page says what a tool screens, what it is priced on, and where it beats Alert Hire. We build Alert Hire, so every page marks it as ours and names the competitors that win.

How these are written
Comparison pages published by a vendor are usually worthless, because the vendor wins every row. These follow four rules so that ours might be worth something.
- Only the vendor’s own words count. Every claim about another product comes from that company’s own website, official documentation or an official marketplace listing. Third-party roundups and affiliate comparison sites are not sources.
- No invented prices. If a vendor does not publish a rate, the cell says so. We will not repeat a figure from a review site, and we do not publish one of our own either.
- Silence stays silence. Where a vendor’s page does not describe something, we leave it blank rather than infer they cannot do it.
- We name where they win. Every page has a section listing what the alternatives do better than us. If that section is ever empty, stop trusting the page.
Bullhorn’s GRID 2026 report, from almost 250 recruitment professionals across APAC, found only 12% of agencies have AI embedded throughout their workflow, while 54% saw KPIs improve by more than 25% from AI screening alone. A category moving that fast, with that gap between promise and adoption, is exactly where clear comparisons are hardest to find.
